Gigabyte Brix Gaming: price and review

Im actually reasonably impressed!

That thing is tiny! Im not sure if i understand correctly though, do you put Ram and a Hard drive inside the little box? I mean why not just sell it with a hard drive and ram?
 
R12k for a mini pc that churns out 14fps in certain games?!

This is ammunition for the console fanboys/girls! :p
 
I would love to get one, the only thing that is preventing me from acquiring one is the network connectivity. WiFi is okay, but lets say lighting fries the on-board NIC, then I am stuck with the okay WiFi. (this year I have already replaced 3 NICs because of lighting damage and a few switches)
 
I once had a quest to build a decent "Steam box", but ended up with a Micro-ATX build. Small, but not as small as it should've been. I'm actually quite happy with what I ended up with. Might still like something like this to plop next to my PS3 and PS4 in the living room...
