GTA Online goes live today: prepare for chaos

So did someone try this and how did it went? Seems as if the whole launch has been like every other massive online game...buggy as all hell.
 
Yeah, also heard it didn't go down too well. Would like to hear some first hand experiences.
 
It doesn't work for most people. I was able to create a character and that's about it, can't connect to or create any games.

Anyway did you have any issues with the single player as well, because as far as I am aware the two world live almost "within each other", so I was wondering if you will be affected by the problems in single player as well...

Haha I didn't even notice the post count. :P

The sp works fine, when the online fails to connect it automatically switches you back to the sp.
 
Didnt make it to the first tutorial race. just stuck waiting for other players. Created my character and got John flippin Marsten as my father!!!! Only my favourite oke of all time!
 
Yup, I had no luck. Couldn't even log into Rockstar Social Club on my desktop to create a crew.
 
It's working on PS3 atm, still hard to get onto a server that a friend is already on because the friends list functionality is still mostly borked,

It was working fine for me Thursday and Friday ladt week, but couldn't connect on Saturday. Tried to play last night, but when I logged on my lvl 18 character was gone, really hope he comes back otherwise I don't see myself playing this again in the near future.
