How sex on TV is impacting you and your kids

But on a serious note, music is the medium where you'll find the most sex. Almost every genre has a song about it. And it's not anything new, people have been singing about it since before music got recorded and sold. And it mostly goes uncensored and no one seems to notice :confused:

Most of the time figures of speech are used to mask it somewhat, and It can also be interpreted as something else entirely. It also depends on the artist themselves, some either state it outright or use a form vernacular which is common with their character or music.

Additionally we are more susceptible to visual stimuli than audio, although it can also vary depending on the situation and from person to person. If a pop song is playing in the background and you have no interest in that style of music. You are going to mentally block out the sound, buy not paying attention to the song. Unless of course you have a keen ear and pick up on the 'innuendo' in the song.

Side note: Hip-Hop musicians speak about selling drugs and doing them, as well as committing crimes but no one seems to care. The same can be said about sex in music. Humanity has come to be more accommodating to various forms of musical expression.

True. I was actually shocked when I realised just how much of the music I grew up listening to was about sex and I had no clue at all. You'll even find parents singing along to some of it with young ears around.
 
Songs about sex is not that bad, songs about nasty/rampant/one-time/etc sex though even the idiot parents should not listen to anyway. It's not sex that is bad it's the kind of sex (including who happens to be participating in it) that can cause damage.
