Hydra's Mixed ATI-Nvidia GPU System Tested
Not long ago we mentioned a new piece of technology that would allow gamers to run ATI and Nvidia GPUs simultaneously in all modern-day titles. The expectation was that you could make the best of both worlds, by say eliminating the weak anti-aliasing performance of one manufacturers card by using the competition's at the same time.

Tech Report has now had the opportunity to go hands-on with Lucid's Hydra chip, benchmarking a few games in mixed-mode and normal mode operation. Though it doesn't appear to work quite as well as expected, or in the way we thought, the promise is there.

Clearly illustrates just how bad crossfire and SLi configurations really are, someone else had to come up with something better...typical

MSI FTW FTW FTW

O forgot did I mention FTW. Worth saying million times over and over and over.

like i said the ATI is good at something while the Nvidia is good at another thing. So if you combine the you've got a allrounder
