So i took the plunge and installed Windows 7 Ultimate this afternoon. Looks awesome and runs awesome also. Only problem.... Its not picking up my second sata HDD for some reason. Now i have to google to find out what is up....:( Then once thats done ill start re installing my stuff.
 
Ultimate is crappy and overkill for what i mainly use it. gaming and spreadsheets :p
Professional i would be happy with
 
The microsoft partner program where you get 10 licenses for Microsoft products. Since we got 6 pc's its cheaper this way not sure what my dad pays for the whole package. but its cheaper than buying 6 windows and office and server.

Do you really need the extra networking options the professional supplies, home premium will run your games and excel. Personally I see no point in getting pro or ultimate. Will be going with home premium.
 
I'm rather keen for this one. My RC1 64bit works well aside from not picking up my sound card :/
 
I couldn't go with Home Premium. The Vista version of Home Premium did nothing but annoy me. No Domain support and a lot of other behind the pretty little button features missing. So I too will go for nothing less than business, and most likely will get Ultimate x64
