Piracy is always sad but in this case it has happened to the most deserving guys. Hope activision enjoys it.

I think we'd all agree piracy is wrong and is ruining the industry. We've all seen how its affected PC gaming for the worse and turn a premium gaming platform into a haven of horrible ports.

But, to see them royally screw PC gamers because of piracy, then have a major leak and piracy issue on their targeted "safe" platform. One can't help but feel that "justice" has been done.

Piracy will go wherever the games are. If the games aren't on the PC (where it is the most convenient to pirate as you don't even have to burn discs), it will go to the consoles. There really is no anti-piracy mechanism, hardware or software that cannot be bypassed. With every generation of consoles getting closer and closer to becoming laptops, its just getting easier.

I do suspect though, some angry people may have put in some extra effort to make this happen to spite IW/Activision for the PC mess.

I also had a quick look at that, thousands of people are downloading and sharing the game at this very moment.

The only matter of concern for those pirates is the possibility of being banned from xbl.
