Once in a while I try to play CS:GO. But when I enter a game nothing happens. The map loads I join a team but then I can't move, if I do move its very jumpy. Is it lag or something else?

You can enable ping and FPS by opening the console (~) and typing "net_graph 1". Should be able to see if your ping spikes.
there's your problem right there![]()
SO I was actually able to play yesterday. Ping was 75ms. I don't know what changed.
By that do you mean it didnt do any of the things mentioned above?
The servers you join to can also make a difference.
There a couple of BF4 I don't play on cause they suck.
In CS:GO my ping will sit at a constant level and net graph shows no packet loss but the game is lags so badly.
Also had a problem where my 4mb line was syncing to 2mb but after phoning Telkom they would reset my port and for a day or to my ping would be half of what it normally is, like 36 or so.
With net_graph check your svar (server variance).despite high fps and low ping/ zero packet loss,i sometimes get high svar and is really shit. There a few crappy csgo servers in SA, especially when they're fairly full. then they like to pull that crap.
