They found a plantation in the middle of Centurion just the other day too. Right below the Gautrain bridge , so yea, plenty of places to grow this it seems. What they seem to do is, any field with high grass they leave the grass on the outside and grow the dagga in the middle, so you literally have to go into the middle of these fields to see the dagga plants (and there's alot of them around town) . Most people would not dare go near these fields as they are already considered hijacking hotspots just being near the road.

Pretoria and its surroundings, there's so many open fields here, i won't surprised if there's growing dagga everywhere and we're driving right past it every day :). Also because the municipality is NOT doing their jobs by keeping fields and streets clean, alot of the fields are totally overgrown , making it easy for criminals and bums to nest in there.
