I've started playing LoL recently and I've really been enjoying it. I like the fact that it's not too complex to get into (although there seems to be quite a bit of depth when it comes to items, masteries and runes) this suits me fine though as I don't exactly get much game time these days.

Arena Strategy games are good fun, had loads of fun with LoL with friends, if you have someone to play with it makes it worthwhile, can be difficult getting into the game solo. 4 Random team mates you don't know that may/may not rage at your skill, it's the one downfall of arena strategy, the team is dependent on everyone's performance.

That being said, there is a lot of character guides and strategy guides. You can find something for every aspect of the game to increase your skills, whether you want casual play or advanced play.

personally i really enjoy LoL, Been playing just over a year now and it is really really awesome, I play games solo or with team mates and usually enjoy it. Some times you get the odd few random teammates that really suck and you lose but most of the time the game is really enjoyable.

I dont play too competitively but the game mechanics are generally easy and the game is not around 5gb as far as i know, my game directory is sitting at around 2.6gb at the moment so not sure about the installer/downloader tho.

The free to play structure in place is just absolutely awesome! just my personal opinion tho (also my gf plays lol and enjoys it and also happens to own with her champs at times)

LoL is quite fun, the learning curve is nice and when you join games they group you with players of the same level or near you as possible, which is nice

I used to play LoL a fair bit, and stopped because I was on 3G and kept lagging out. My mates on mumble would hear loud unsavoury speech and lots of bashing as I went hulk. The game is extremely fun to play, and is great for casual players due to the short matches. As was mentioned, getting a harmonious team is extremely hard to do, and the worst player is normally the first to throw a tantrum/ rage quit if you're losing. The Influence Point system is good for advancing your profile, and encourages you to continue playing. Servers are US/EU so expect pings in the 200+ region while you go up against opponents with 26-70

Its a pretty cool game once you get into it. Just takes a while to figure out the items and builds and runes etc. After that its plain sailing :D
