Mass Effect 3 to support Kinect

Aww I would love to try Kinect with a Mass Effect game but I have to get the PC version to continue with my save games.

Though as donatello mentioned, I wonder how it will work.

flapping and fingering:

Can't say I'm a fan of this sensory movement toys, but it has to start somewhere to get to the point of fully realised VR kits :)

Perhaps there will only be limited functionality. Like in the movie Minority Report. You can use kinect to navigate the menu, star systems and planets. Other than that I do not know how they can implement kinect for gameplay, kinect is too sluggish. The reponse time is not good enough to be used as a controller in my opinion.

Perhaps its a seperate section of the game like Harry Potter last year. Maybe even a co-op experience- say like the battle for Earth while Shepherd's in space getting help.

Maybe there will be a few mini-games where you can use the kinect? looking forward to see what they come up with :)

Hmmmm...I love my Xbox and all, but it seems that Microsoft is trying to through Kinect into every new title. I like the idea of Kinect and the technology is really cool...but do some of these games really need it? Can you imaging playing Mass Effect with Kinect? You'll die of a heart attack halfway through the game. I also heard a rumour that Forza 4 will be using Kinect. A racing simulator with Kinect? Really Really? How will that improve a simulator in any way? I can see it being used for Kart racing games...but that is about as far as it goes.

But hey, if they can convince me that it is a good move and show it to me, I won't complain.

hmm very sceptical about this, haven't tried the Kinect myself but after the Wii I'm a bit sceptical about all motion controled games...
Still if anyone can make something work its BioWare
