Need for Speed: The Run’s new trailer

I havent finished hot pursuit too, i got bored with the repetitiveness of the game and lack of modification, i hope this is better. But from that, i not sold on this game.. The NFS Franchise has been dying for me... ever since the release of carbon. And its never got back to where it belonged again.
 
The last great NFS was Most Wanted... plain and simple... all NFS games since have, IMO, given a lackluster feel to the NFS brand. after the tragedy that was undercover, i didnt want anything to do with NFS... including SHIFT (why including shift you may ask, if i wanted a track race game id go play gran turismo, GRID or forza.)
When i heard that hot pursuit wasnt bad i bought it but stopped playing after a few hours, 1 because it was repetitive as hell and 2... where the hell is my outrageous car modding options??? I know its hot pursuit and its not meant to have modding, but why can i no longer put on a boot spoiler that rivals the size of the royal family's dining table or some under car lighting to make my cab look like a UFO cruising down the strip at 200+ with nos flames flying out the back?!
That outrageous, unrealistic modding and stuff made the game fun... so why take it out?
The NFS series is lost IMO and needs to find its way home quick... else it will crash and burn like Quinton mentioned towards the end of his piece.
