New Call of Duty to feature digital content platform monetisation scheme

Cross Platform. This would mean Dedicated Servers or P2P across all platforms or how is this possible?

How are they going to possible release this in a year? Black Ops had a 2 year development cycle and It was a Fail launch. I dont see how they can promise to deliver more in a shorter period.... We still have yet to see a trailer or even a teaser....

I am over the Call of Duty Franchise... F### Knobby Kottick! :p I eagerly await Battlefield 3.

I'll have a look when it comes out, but if they don't screw it up I'll more than likely get it. BF3 is out before then tho so they'll have to pull out all the stops to sway me.

Never gonna happen. They might allow cross console online play, but the second you throw in PC gamers the console guys will have a disadvantage.

yeesh... if skyrambo goes up against console boys... SLAUGHTER!

Best Borderlands player in the world is on XBox. World's best Borderlands PC pvp'er prefers using his gamepad.
I wouldn't be so fast in dismissing gamepad players as being at some perceived disadvantage...

While I'd agree that some of the best console players could hold their own, it's my opinion that even they'd have a disadvantage against PC gamers.

I've been watching a lot of World Cyber games footage on youtube and came across the Halo3 team finals held a couple of years ago. The thing that I noticed is the amount of aim correction that they have to do. Compared to M&K on the PC I just don't see them at the same level.

This debate is moot at the end of the day tho, since there aren't any FPS games that allow multi player across all platforms. Only when that happens will people find out the truth......... that K&B owns all. :p
