I've been down this road. I was a nVidia supporter, then moved to ATi and then back to Nvidia...honestly guys...choosing a specific brand is only limiting yourself. I'll buy whatever brand offers me the best card....sometimes it's nVidia, sometimes it's ATi....doesn't really matter at the end of the day.
Yip, i am trying to decide between a HD 4890 or a GTX 275. Might just go GTX 275 as my buddies have Nvidia cards and i can get PC support from them if I have questions on graphics settingsIn other words what is the best card for the best priceOriginally Posted by Neo

I agree, it really depends on what cards out on the market for the best value and performance
Finally got my new rig 1 week ago. Just when I was ready to order my PC about 3 weeks ago the GTX 275 model I wanted went up by R300, so I opted for an Asus HD 4890 TOP (OC) edition for about R2400 incl VAT. Then that was out of stock so I had to organise any old HD 4890 which ended up being a standard speed HIS HD 4890 for R2200 incl VAT.Yip, i am trying to decide between a HD 4890 or a GTX 275.
