No Tsar. those where the good old days. You listed most of my Fav's.
might be in the wrong section but one of my all timers is
The Secret of Monkey island (pc)

and just played it aging recently with Lucas Arts Remake that was launched this year through steam. Good Times

I still play NES, Sega, Arcade, N64, Saturn, SNES and those games.

Will never ever be like playing them for the first time way back then though!!!!!

Favourites are:

Super Mario 3 (Nes)
yoshi's Island (Snes)
Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja (Sega)
Chelnov-Atomic Runner (Arcade-Sega)
Mortal Kombat Series (Arcade-Sega)
Street Fighter Series (SF Ex Alpha, SF III Third Strike etc) (Arcade)
Legend of Kage (Nes)
Mario 64 (N64)
Metal Slug Series (Arcade)

Am I the only one that played nes and sega?

It's 12:30am... some of us arent as young as we used to be and need to sleep :p

What about Mario bros 3? That was awesome, one of the very games I actually finished on the nes (skipped world 7 though using the flute) - Makes me wonder back how you were meant to do that in 1 sitting as there were no save games.

All time favourites on sega:
Phatasy Star 4
Sonic 3 + Knuckles

Yeah that's why I listed SMB3 aswell, its an awesome game, even got it here at work LOOOL! Luckily you can save on the pc so :p

3mins sooner than I did :P

When I play it agian, I always remember it as being more... colourful... or is that just me?

How legal is it to play those old games on PC? I don't have the cartridge anymore but have the sudden craving to replay it (this time not skipping world 7 ;) )

Ag dude, not to start a piracy debate here, but when it comes to oldschool gaming and emulators, I'm all for it :D

I digged those. Paperboy was one of my first games - and ofcourse Excite Bike being one of the best ever, with immortal tunes just like that of Elevator Action.

I really enjoyed the 2 player capability of the nintendo units & it was probably what made this console such a hit:

- Track & Field's 110m hurdles
- Contra
- Double Dragon 2 & 3
- Battle City
- Snow Bros
- Ice Climber
- Tennis
- Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
- Jackal
- Ninja Turtles
- GI Joe
- Monster in my Pocket

But yeah, single player titles also had some true gems. I loved the Star Wars side scroller game and arguably one of the best ones was The Simpsons: Bart vs the Space Mutants.

I think the hardest game I've ever played to date was Karateka.

Play classic Nintendo games in your browser here.

There are links to Sega, commodore, DOS (etc.) games too.

If anyone can finish Milon's Secret Castle on the NES I'll award you with much internets.
