the one S does not only do video in 4k ! it also upscales games to 4k, the one S literally replaces the normal xbox one, so why would you go and buy the older model when the new one sells for the same price? the one S is not a seperate SKU like the ps pro, the One S replaces the orginal Xbox one, whereas The ps Pro is an additional premium Sku to the playstation family.

Yeah I have to agree with this. Although I suspect this was aimed at current Xbox One and Ps4 owners. Personally I want a Xbox One S...but we still have no release date in SA and after contacting Microsoft and a bunch of retailers and getting the "we don't know when it's launching in SA", I've given up on getting it this year.

I'm also partial to this reasoning. I'm not too phased with getting a One S or a PS4 Slim, would rather wait for PS4 and or Scorpio.

the only issue is scorpio will definately cost more probably $399 (Just over 5.5 k) or $499 (+- R7k at current exchange rates) excluding vat and local supplier import costs and the fact that we'll most likely get a ratings downgrade in december, the rand will most likely plummet and scorpio might end up being a R10 000 console in SA at the end of the day.
