no offline mode
Offline mode? lol? Do you even know what OnLive is?

Anyways. Their prices are a bit high though, but then this would never work here since you require to be within "1000 miles" of their servers for it to be playable.

But what's stumped me the most was "World of Goo". I bought it for $4.99 and it doesn't need a powerful pc to run on. So why would anyone even bother getting it.

Im gonna purchase that annual subscription... i can honestly say for R300+- a year thats nothing compared to what the okes on Xbox Live have to pay and then they still need to purchase points to buy games and all that...

Xbox Live costs me $43 per 12 months. Which is about R322 at today's exchange rate.

*sigh*
The point I was trying to make is that when buying a game, it's dodgy to be bound to the reliability of a certain server, whereas with Steam for example, you have the option to play your games offline. Your connection to OnLive breaks for whatever reason, you're screwed.
As I DO NOT know absolutely everything about it and people overseas are complaining about the fact above, if I am wrong about this - then by all means - LOL?
