PC gaming is not dead

A couple of theories out there as to what they're up to. It's either going to be a range of gaming PCs or the Razor Switchblade. I'm thinking the latter.

Likewise... though the Switchblade does looks pretty damn sweet I'm not entirely sold on that yet. Atleast not as a means to "revive" PC Gaming.

I wish I could live in a world where I could choose the game and not the platform, would make life so much easier, instead I have to purchase 2 - 3 consoles and a high end PC to enjoy my gaming hobby. I wish exclusives were accessible to all gamers, there are so many great games out there that not everyone will experience, the Gears of War fan who desperately wishes he/she could play Uncharted and vice versa, or the console gamer who would love to play StarCraft II.
Sadly this is not an ideal world..

There is one game that we seem to love playing, that has no ending. It's called 'Fanboy Wars'.

More on topic: I doubt Razer will be doing anything groundbreaking that hasn't possibly already been done before.

I don't think PC gaming will ever die. The only problem is that a console costs way less then a semi decent gaming pc, hence more console gamers.

but there far more pc out there (i know not many are for games) than console so the market can actually be far bigger

I'm a PC Fanboy... I refuse to play on consoles(except for my DS & 3DS).
But..... But.... GIVE THIS MAN A CAPE!

Fayainz says it best. I agree with your statement. Enough with the HATERS!

Until the production cost of AAA games starts to go down (and game piracy disappears entirely from the world) game makers will still make back room deals with console makers on console-exclusives and PC games will still keep coming out months after the console counter parts.
And of course as exclusives exist and there's more than just one console on the market people will keep choosing a side.
But back to the OP, no PC games won't die out, the PC gaming market has its low (when new consoles are released) and its highs (around the end of a console generation, like we're currently see occurring), but it never completely goes away.

PC gaming won't die and it never really looked like dying. I'm not even entirely sure why people even think that it's dying at any point in time.

I have tried my hand at console gaming (PS3 and Wii). I just feel so much more comfortable behind the keyboard with mouse in hand. My Wii has its place though for entertainment with the kids and Tiger Woods golf too (for me).
