PS3 error :'(

When I want to start up a game, my ps3 (120GB Slim, 2 years old) gives me the 80010514 error. And exists me back to the xmb. I cant start up any of my games. Also when I insert the game disc into the ps3 I hear feint clicking noises and it takes a while to pick up that there is a disc inside.

I've searched online but havent really found anything useful. Is this fixable? :( This couldnt have happened at a worse time.

Upgrade to a x360 :p
 
Thank goodness it is working!! Did the restore file system thing. Huge sigh of relief. But apparently the problems keeps returning for some people :/

Good to hear it's working again.It seems like the more advanced consoles get,the more fragile they become.
 
It actually happened again yesterday, and this time the 'fix' didnt work. I deleted the UC3 game data since this happened after I got the game. Then it worked again. So either UC3 installed incorrectly, or this is going to be a continuous problem.
 
Any chance it's still under warranty? If it is, and it happens again, probably best to get it swapped out asap
 
No its not so I'm hoping it lasts me at least into next year. So I can play Uncharted3, MW3, AC:R and Skyrim this December.
