I guess it's not surprising, considering the perceived value of the PS4 vs the Xbone, but it isn't necessarily a good thing that the lead is that big. Can you imagine what would happen if PS4 has no competition anymore? They'll be able to do whatever the hell they want.

As long as Microsoft doesn't pull Xbox, this is good because it forces them to improve their future products which in turn provides more competition for the PS4. If both did equally well, there would be slightly less motivation to do better.

Competition is always a good things. Especially if the equilibrium can sway both ways should one of he parties become irresponsible in their dealings; leads to better overall products
