Question regarding Telkom uncapped and gaming

I'm thinking of upgrading to telkom uncapped but just want some clarification, I was told gaming is seen as an abuse and would get me shaped within 30 mins, is this the case ?

Short answer: No, it will not.
Are you sure whomever told you did not mistake peer 2 peer for gaming, or games that have p2p lobbies (even that has it's minimal usage). Anyway just don't abuse the line by downloading 24/7 and you will be fine.
