Questions before I buy new rig... What's a heatsink?

Just wondering, the motherboard internal I/O connector specs are as follows:

3 x USB connectors (6 ports)
1 x IDE connector
4 x SATA connectors
1 x CPU Fan connector
1 x Chassis Fan connector
1 x Front panel audio connector
1 x SPDIF out
1 x Internal speaker connector
1 x 24-pin ATX Power connector
1 x 4-pin ATX 12V Power connector
1 x System Panel connector

I only see 1x Chassis fan there, and my tower has space for 3 fans (front, side, back, which I bought). Reckon I'll only be able to connect one? Of het ek die kat aan die stert beet.
 
Yeah you connect one there if your fan has that type of connection.
If they don't you just connect them to the normal power connections.
Ag its too later to explain but that's the basics of it.
 
you just connect them to those power cables from the PSU that got to the HDD, DVD and maybe Graphics Card

hell if i can do it (eventhough it took me a long time), then anyone can....you must read carefully, read again and think logically and remember about the static
 
So got the stuff! Does it matter if I install the motherboard, then the processor? Or should I do other way around, because I'm only getting the proc in 2 weeks :p
