SC2 error - An error occurred starting starcraft 2. Please try again.

I'm having trouble starting up sc2, the error message says "An error occurred starting starcraft 2. Please try again.

Now the weird thing is that it was working fine for the first couple of days, could play SP and MP no problem, but after the second update on friday the problem started. The game is original I have updated video drivers all around, my pc meets the minim specs by some margin. I've also tried re-installing and running the repair kit in the support folder with no luck whatsoever. Any ideas?

I did have a look there and some other websites before posting, none of which could fix the problem, thanks for posting though, any help is appreciated at this time.

Things you can try:

1. Run the game as administrator (not just an administrator account, right click and click run as Administrator).
2. Create a new administrator account on your machine (so its squeaky clean) and try run the game from that account.
3. Try deleting the contents of the Starcraft II settings folder. This is normally in c:\Users\AccoutName\...... I don't know the exact Starcraft II settings folder name now as I'm at work. Or make sure the folder is not read only.

Problem found - I had to delete the "starcraft 2" folder in "my documents" and then re-install the game. I was nervous to delete it because I thought I would lose my saved games etc. but when I started the game up again I was right back from where I left off.

Hope this helps someone out there on the interwebz that that might have the same problem.
