If you're a fan of Game of Thrones you probably know Sibel Kekilli as Shae, Tyrion Lannister's prostitute turned concubine-girlfriend (it would be an 'It's complicated' relationship on Facebook).

However, what you might not know is that Kekilli first became big in Germany for her acting on a movie called Head-On. She won a Lola (like a German Oscar) for her performance on that movie.

Soon after that movie was released, however, it was revealed that she had acted in porno films using the stage name Dilara. There was a public scandals and her parents even broke contact with her.

She recovered from it though, and has gone on to star in HBOs biggest show.

No wonder she is comfortable with the nude scenes,non the less I like her character on the show,she's cool.

i think it was intentional, hollywood just seems to be obsessed with pornstars lately, charlie sheen dating them, lindsay lohan paying them for booty calls, even that chick that was teen mom has gone on to make a porno, and i dont think being a pornstar in hollywood matters image wise these days since everyone has already slept with everyone already eg. **Cough kim khardasian :rolleyes: Cough**

I don't really understand how that could be a scandal, especially in Germany of all places.

well she's a german muslim (i dont think there's alot of those) thats probably why (fornication is also not allowed in islam, and she did alooooooooooooooottttttttttt of it :p for money) , if it was Iran or Iraq they would have probably chopped of her head :eek:

Lol,I don't think religion matters,they were harsh on her cause she became well known,they always try and shoot down stars as they start to shine.
 
I'm actually not surprised. So much nudity and romping in GoT, I was expecting at least one of them to have a nudey career backround.
