Replaying this currently, it's been nearly 12 years.

GoG version makes it possible.

This is basically how game looks when I maxed anti-aliasing and anistrophic filtering on my PC.

Well I heard of it, I remember seeing reviews when it came out... but don't think I ever tried it.

Never heard of this one either. Must have been overshadowed by the other big RPG's of the day..

*The reason is never took off was simple, you couldn't pirate it.
*There was a console version, on the Dreamcast(Not many owned a dreamcast, less this game)
*Almost dark souls kinda Difficulty and new mechanics never seen in any other game. You might actually need to read the manual for this one. Although if you use a walkthrough it makes game a lot easier. Enemies have different vulnerabilities to different magic and weapons.
*There was a game breaking bug, where you couldn't insert disc2, which required a patch. Internet was still a luxury back then, had to use a friend to hunt down this patch.
*It was never Win2000/WinXP compatible. Game was released in end 1999, people simply couldn't play it.
*I was called Silver.

Oh and it's micro intensive, there's just a lot of depth to this game. You need to be able to control 3 heroes in real time.

Sounds interesting, wonder if a new HD remake will ever be done.

Actually game kinda looks pretty good even today. It really stood the test of time, apart from the character models.
They really did pay attention to the artwork of this game, fine details everywhere. Music, Sound, Effects, Environment details all top notch.

Started playing it yesterday and already at the final boss. Everything so much easier to figure out when your grown up lol...
That said game can get rather challenging at certain points, but there's a lot of stuff in the game that can help you gain that extra advantage. Checkpoints can be scarce sometimes, it encourages you somewhat not to die.

Can confirm though that game is still awesome. One of the best designed games ever in terms of game-play mechanics and the scenery remains interesting.
