"Single player is a gimmick," reckons Gogogic CEO

I actually like single player Campaigns. I don't have time to run around MP and levelling up slowly
 
This coming from a guy who's company specialises in small social games. I can guarantee the SP game will outlive those social ones.

Is it me or are a lot of gaming industry folks making a lot of foot in mouth comments lately?
 
Is this not a shift to try and curb pirates?

I love SP games..... even if they have MP I will play the SP first
 
People have been saying this of single player games for ages. It's bullshit and there's no changing that.
 
Single player will stay! I tend to think that Multiplayer is gimmick :D

Even with games like CoD we all know what the single player is going to be like. But hell we still play it. A cod game without A SP just isn't the same.
