Skyblivion the ultimate Skyrim mod? Latest update

The entirety of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be remade using Skyrim technology

I wonder if it will ever see a proper release or just fade into obscurity later, like what happened with Morroblivion.

Owning Skyrim and Oblivion on PS3 (and not having a gaming PC that are good enough to play them) are one of the biggest regrets I have about gaming. I have seen so many awesome mods (like this one) that people have created to extend the lives of these games. I remember seeing this crazy texture pack that brought the game down to a crawl, but increased the textures of Skyrim to a point where it looked almost real.
