So anyone going to give this a try? It goes into OB on Thursday. I've been following it for a while now and my only concern is Allods involvement.

Have u ever looked at an MMO trailer and felt like they all look the same?

Perhaps I need to go watch some gameplay videos

Well they all are basically the same. Skyforge brings nothing new to the table really.

I swear the industry really needs a major shakeup, something completely new and different. Where there are no such thing as dailies, weeklies or anything that represents MMOs in their current form.

I want to be able to play minecraft in an mmo format lol

But I thought u said it wasn't MC in the other post?

Thing is I want to be able to build the industry that u can in the modpacks but in an MMO format somehow.

Well it lasted me a whole hour before uninstalling. Just didnt grab me. Back to TSW

Well I have been playing for a while and its something to get use to , little different from most mmo , with the instances and stuff , don't forget you can become a god ... anyway some of my friends and I have started playing It a but we created a clan but the amount of resources to commit to creating a decent clan is somewhat high if you guys want to join just pm me and ill sent you an invite.

I heard the combat system is really cool/different, but ill be shelving MMOs for a little while at least.

Looking for Immortals to join Immortal Grace. Casual, friendly, helpful PVP/PVE Pantheon.

Requirements

No prestige/KDR/Activity requirement, just a willingness to come and have fun!

Helping out with order missions will always be appreciated.

Current Leaders are South African based but any English speaking players are welcome.

At the moment we are very focused on Pantheon upgrades and will also be doing Raids/Pantheon Wars once available. We are friendly and always willing to help others out. Been playing since CBT. Come out, have fun, no fuss, no drama, no bullsh!t. Be respectful and we'll all have a good time.

Reply to this thread or whisper me in-game Kahlan Lionheart or the Pantheon Leader Maleck Draganov for invite.

Also installed this yesterday. Character creation is pretty cool, but I wish they would have warned me that I can only have one character. Had to make a new account to reroll. I only played a few minutes, but so far so good. The combat is pretty fun and I like the world as well. Will see how long it can keep my attention, hopefully longer than TESO.

and how are u finding the game?

Hey Lothy, so far for me the game is great.. for a F2P game it's really something everyone should check out and play for themselfs and see if they like it or not as each person have their own opinion about Skyforge :) But it's really worth it for an F2P game.

With the F2P element, is this a P2W MMO?

Or are the shop purchases fairly balanced?

Well so far all i can see no.. there is no P2W, when you are a F2P member you get normal rates of crystals etc.. but when you a premium member you get extra crystals and things like FREE teleportation around the map, most things are cosmetic based, there is just little benefits if you are a premium member, just takes you longer to progress in the game.

Maybe someone else can share more light on it but i don't see it as a P2W game.

Pay2Win will come later. They know that if they launched with a Pay2Win system, they would get called out on it in just about every review. Rather let reviewers (like you for example) exclaim that it is thankfully not P2W at the moment which then encourages more to join.

Once it goes out of beta and has a decent subscriber base with players that have invested significant time, I see them adding more P2W kind of stuff. Nothing wrong with that, some people like it and some don't. But most who truly care about games don't.

Sounds good, but lets hope that the P2W system never comes in. There are plenty other games out there that prove the P2W concept doesn't work.
