SSD's, what is your performance?

Definitely

R1200 for a 1tb is robbery. If you are buying now it is worth a look at least

Well, with the prices of normal HDDs currently, it might be worth a look at SSD? Yes, the R/GB is till way in favour of HDD, but myabe, just myabe it might be worth a look.

As for same drive transferring data, if you actually copy it from one folder to another, it should still take a while as ooposed to moving said file.

Yeh. Well long term storage is cheap. But what most people lack is speed. So when the choice is between size and speed at a price point, it is much easier to choose SSD right now.

My OS setup is RAID-0 with two OCZ Vertex 3 60Gbs - it is redonkulously fast at 894Mb/s (Dual SATA 3 is wkd)
Early next year Intel will update the RST Driver to support TRIM too - so thats nice for the long-term
DATA is where I put my user profiles and User/IE & Firefox Temp, so minimizing small data writes (again for long-term), made up with RAID-0 of two 1TB Seagates.

It's the business.

All crutial DATA is backup on my NAS, so I neednt worry about failure, other than the annoyance factor.
