Pardon this poll, but I'm kinda leaning towards getting it. The game looks great, beta was also great, got kinda...wont say bored, but something like that near the end, but I think maybe that was because there was only two maps, and the one was kinda unbalanced...

Anyway, as kind of a general indicator, now just before the launch, are you thinking of getting?

I am going to wait for it to go on sale rather, I was not wowed enough in the beta to consider buying it on release.
 
Gonna skip on this. It just didnt wow me. I'm also not paying R600 for a multiplayer only title and then another ~R600 for the missing bits they will be adding via dlc.
 
No Campaign mode made me disinterested in it. It would have been nice to re-play some of the epic battles that took place in the SW universe as well as in the previous games.
 
My current PC can't run it so I'll consider it after I've upgraded. I'll probably grab it on special later on.
 
I might get it, if I have the money, but there are other games that are coming out that are more important. aka. Fallout 4
 
Hells yeah I'm getting it. Already pre-ordered the limited edition for Xbox One, plus gonna get the season pass for it as well. I'm super excited for the game and can't wait for it to launch!!!!
 

Battlefront EA doesn't seem to be worth the money.

Playing on Xbox One at the moment, and I've not had any issue finding or connecting to any game. The servers have been full for every games I've played so far. It's rather different, as you don't get a server browser to choose from, but in stead is booted into a server with an ope slot for that moment. but time will tell whether or not this will maintain into the future
 
Yeah you don't struggle to find servers. They aren't necessarily local servers, but the lag issue isn't such a biggie.
Visually it's an amazing game. They did a good job there. Gameplay however is a bit generic. It's just another shooter. Progression isn't really where it could have been. Having said that though; it's fun. Games are quick, and if you like Star Wars, you'll enjoy the game no doubt.

I play on LTE, play on PC and have no problem finding a game or with lag that interferes with my game (that I notice...).

I have not really had a problem finding a game for any game mode I choose or even if i want to play a specific map.

I think Battlefront is marred here and there, definitely, but not nowhere to the extend that ppl are going on about. Its easy to post every little negative video or review, just like news papers, bad news always on the front page. I think that bandwagon is so overloaded, its about to fall over...

Granted maps and weapons are limited, but they have already released two free maps. I wish they would lower the price of the season pass though. That would help sell the base game much better.

To me, I am happy I spent the money, the game is really fun, it's a fast passed game, looks and sounds incredible, very open in the way that you can tackle an objective, have had very few choke point situations like in Battlefield games.

Also, like I have mentioned before, I am not a Star Wars fan, I dislike the movies, (Star Trek >) so its not fanboy blinding me.
