Normally the first month subscription is free, so you're only paying for the game- and by the looks of it trying it out for a month even would be definitely worth it. If you enjoyed KOTOR, then most definitely.

Such items are usually given to pre order customers, but the items themselves aren't always amazing. The novelty wears off after a few hours because you will notice most other people have them too :P

As long as I can have a red lightsaber I'm happy.

Yeah, bit of a contradiction there. Starting to fear my chances of getting the game in the box before end January, think I'm going to end up having to download the 40gb+ client with my early access.

Hey guys can anyone tell me what the costs involved in playing?? Game cards and or the price for the game?? I do not see anything on BT Games release schedule.

$60 from amazon. Release date: 20 December. There has been no word from local distributors on the game, probably will not be available here till sometime next year.
Works like any MMO, after you buy, install and patch, you get 30 days free, after that you have to pay a subscription of about $15 a month to play.
Also don't forget to factor in your bandwidth cost. No one can tell me as yet but I would reckon this beasty would eat up about 20-30 megs an hour.
Of course then there are patches, of which there will be plenty in the beginning. Anyone's guess as to how much that would be in bandwidth but I would again guess around 500+ megs a patch.
