Ryan, when the patcher gets to that last 1%, do you wait for it to finish or do you hit cancel ?

My system downloads the file, gets to the last 1%, looks like it is hanging but after about 1min or TOPS 2mins, it will move on to applying the patch. I think this is purely a checksum system making sure the files are correctly downloaded because this has been this way since December last year and I've never had issue with my game client.

left it like that for more than an hour thinking it might "unstick" but with no luck.

However, I found the problem...

My hotspot and / or Switch or other controller do-dad.

Plugging an extra laptop directly into the router did the trick! This had me and 2 other blokes in the house baffled for days...

In saying this, I will be playing for the remaining 9 days on the sub and will not be renewing. I will re-sub in a year or two if the game makes it that long.

Jugs are the best damn things in the galaxy when it comes to Huttball. My lvl50 Assassin tank was a bit meh, the only thing I really enjoy is force pulling people into fire pits in huttball, or on the Voidstar bridge, I'd force pull them to me, stun & overload them off the side. :D

My mercenary is lvl 26 now I think. I enjoyed playing her class much more than the assassin. Very powerful. Although I cancelled my subs until further notice.

I've been trying to decide on another alt, and bounty hunter seems interesting. But can't decide on merc or tech.

PT's are awesome tanks, but melee characters. So if you already have a melee char, I would HIGHLY recommend a merc. They are too much fun! Heavy armor, long range dps/healer. Also, you get the coolest comps. Mako is cute/hot & goes well with the storyline ... and you get a friggen JAWA! UTHINI!

I would disagree that a PT is a melee character. Sure most of the tanking abilities is 10m range but it still has all the ranged attacks of the Bounty Hunter class, most of them amazing openers and DPS aggro managing abilities. So no, PT is technically a ranged tank. Compared to the sith warrior which has ALL but 2 attacks as pure melee.

Also, the AoE abilities of the bounty hunter base class are just awe inspiring and makes for great ranged tanking tools.
