StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm fact sheet

what I would really like to know is the pricing details on this bad-boy... Are they going to charge full price (for what I see as) an expansion?

Oh my goodness. I cannot even begin to comprehend, let alone describe how excited I am for this game's singleplayer. Granted, I am comparing it to the Wings of Liberty singleplayer which was about as much fun as projectile vomit, but I really am liking the developments in terms of story which are coming about.

The multiplayer I'm a tad skeptical of. These are some pretty huge changes which ought to do some very interesting things to the game, though I suppose Blizzard hasn't buggered up balance yet, so I don't see why they would now.

In an interview I saw with one of the developers, they said that the game will be priced like an expansion, but considering what SC2 cost when it came out here, I won't get my hopes up.

I have this feeling the price will make one weak at the knees. Best part is SC2 prices won't drop either even on when this releases. One of the few games to retain it's price for more than a year :3. But this seems pretty awesome.

First time I have seen that trailer. Just finished Starcraft 2 recently again and now I am hyped for the expansion.

I don't think I am as keen about this one as I was for WOL, maybe because I have been trying to steer clear of any news etc coming for this. I quite like it that way though

Read an interview a while ago where Blizz spokes person confirmed that it will be priced as an expansion and not full game - roughly around $35, so I'm not sure what that will translate to in Rands. I'd expect R250- R300

Geez when normal games cost R330 or so, R300 for an expansion is a rip.

Sorry I've become anti Blizzard with their anti gamer stance (always on DRM and high prices).

I wouldn't really say Blizzard uses always on DRM - and even if they do, the quality of Battle Net makes up for it. Sure, they can be annoying in terms of not releasing LAN support and ignoring the needs of the competitive community, but they've made a really awesome game and are pretty sharp on balance, so I forgive them :P

To me games are still expesive, but if you watch the video of how they make the game and money they put in developing a game. It's well worth it if it is a decent game^^
