Steam download speeds

Had a good laugh at this this morning:

I've never seen 4 digits in the Peak Speed, nevermind 10! Did prompt me to wonder what sort of peak speeds others get out of their Steam downloads.

Mine (since my switch to Telkom capped) is around 650 GB/S

That seems a tad excessive


Mine normally sits around 380kbps on a 4mbps line

Yeah, it's a minor bug in steam. Don't know when they'll address it. It's reporting your maximum interface throughput in bps as peak throughput in GB/s
