Telkom VDSL launch details - 20Mbps and 40Mbps

Wow 5gigs cap for that price, even my mom uses more than 5gig in a months time. From video calling to youtube to all sorts of downloads.
 
I wouldn't hold my breath either. After 2 years they still haven't been able to upgrade one of the exchanges in Centurion to 10Mbps. How long will it take them to get to 20 or 40?
 
I've been getting 0.16 M speedtests for the last 3 months... MWEB's newest excuse is that my exchange is full,and it must be the reason. I do get 600ms+ pings on the first hop though, so this may be true. How is it possible to upgrade certain users to 20Mbit then if I am unable to get 1Meg due to an over-subscribed exchange?

Its like having a Ferrari with a 1L tank :(
All I want is 10mbs in my area with under 200 Pings... Just sort the smaller things before making huge leaps.

I have the exact same problem, and its an ever increasing problem around the country!! It comes right at midnight though for me, so thats great if I was 100% nocturnal i guess?....fml

I don't even get better rates at midnight. It took 4 days for me to download Saints Row The Third via Steam, think it's 4.5 Gigs...
