The Big Deal 15GB Telkom LTE data promotion

I wouldnt touch this with a 10 foot pole the way telkom has been screwing around with my line since november
 
It has been a long, long while since I have any contract with Telkom. Their LTE prices are unbeatable and I was tempted numerous times - does the service still suck very hard? Is it worth taking the risk and sign a 24 month contract?
 
Well to put it mildly its still kak. I have had nothing but issues with telkom since the day they installed my line 11 nov 2015. Since then in total i have prolly had a months worth of uptime the rest has been down time and no internet.

And for some odd reason my internet drops everyday at 8 and only comes back on at 7 pm at night and 7 techs have not been able to sort the issue. And i have logged over 30 complaints with feedback on only 2. And they close faults lef right and centre while the fault has not been resolved.

It is generally fine when things work. It is just the frustration when stuff breaks and I do not want to go through when I have to report a problem or get it fixed and there is no service and no care in the world or any urgency. Not to mention the lack of knowledge.
 
I avoid Telkom as much as possible. If only someone would lay some fibre on my side of town, I could be rid of them altogether. I would definitely not stick myself with a 2 year contract with them.
 
I'm still waiting for Telkom to give me a call regarding the deal of march, 3-4 weeks later and multiple inbox messages on twitter saying someone will call.

Oh well, seems like they not really interested in doing business.
