Funny... That's what I thought of swtor after rosey glasses came off.
 
I'm thinking of giving this a skip, personally I feel it's a bad move for the TES series. Didn't stop me from applying for the BETA though... Any news on an Open BETA later in the works @ those who participated?

I would just like to give the BETA a try, but not sure if i'll play it on a subscription basis.
 
Can anyone comment on the combat? ie Can you move around and attack like you can in GW2? Dynamic combat was one of the biggest game changers for me when it came to MMOs and ever since then I haven't been able to get into MMOs that feature static combat, no matter how pretty it looked! :(

I'm 99% sure you can. If you look at any of the promo vids and interviews with gameplay you can see characters moving around while attacking.
 
Is it subscription based and how much will the game cost? mmo's have been bankrupting a lot of developers, hope it does well.
 
Woooooow. R165pm just to play the game online. Craziness.

I was looking forward to this game but I will be skipping this game at that price pm... well I won't play online subscription games in any case period. I believe in paying once off and then pay for DLC or other in game items, if you really want it that bad.

I'm not too fussed about subscription MMOs. I've yet to meet an MMO that enthralled me for longer than more than two months.
