The Elder Scrolls Online Beta

Decided to grab the Digital Imperial Edition for myself.

Will grab the collectors' edition for Dentar when finances look a little friendlier, otherwise will just grab another Digital Imperial Edition for him as well closer to the time.

We want the art book and statue for our collection :o

But yeah, there's no kidding about it being insanely overpriced...

I enjoyed the beta but you can never really tell how you'll feel about the game as a whole until you play it and take it all in. But beta was a good indication that we'll like it enough to play it to the main story's conclusion, at least.

I don't see myself paying R150 for this every month... I'm also secretly afraid this might break the TES universe and WOW did to the Warcraft Universe.

Was really looking forward to this game, but having to pay R850 for the standard edition (x2 as the wife would like to play as well) and then R170 a month for the sub is just way too expensive. :(

Digital Imperial Edition Pre Ordered! - Also, R150 a month for this is NOT a lot of money. Most people are STILL paying for WOW....

I just bought the Standard edition.... its 54 Euro... which works out to R750, so 2 keys would be R1500

Then it hit me how expensive this damn game is.. it better be brilliant.

It's ridiculous,like what the heck man. :(
It's so depressing.

Don't forget you may have to pay tax on your monthly sub as well.

Correction, the gaming company will have to charge us an increased rate IF they decide to listen to itsy-bitsy SA and enforce it.

Chances are that they could not care less.

Besides.... VPN

I would not trust kalahari with pre-oders any more after few times I used them and they screwed it up.

Yes I saw that price a few days back, but lets think logically about it. According to kalahari it must be 30.4748 USD, which online shop is offering it for 30.4748 USD? I then looked at AWX and BT games (Takealot doesn't list it), none of these has pricing on them, but yet kalahari has it for 30.4748 USD.

I would not be surprised if they go A) Oh shit! price increased or B) Sorry we canceled your pre-order (like with fallout vegas). This is why I have not linked or used them...

They guarantee the price if you preorder. I've done this many times without issue.

Same as above. i have never had a game go up in price from any online retailer after pre-order.

Still, with that being said, I watched the latest video they released. Mind was blown.

Then actual gameplay vid..........yeah.

From all the previews and impressions I've read online, I'm really worried about ESO. I so badly want it to be good, but most previews say it's mediocre or just plain bad. Still deciding whether or not to order it from Kalahari. Now if I could just get into the damn beta and get a feel for it myself.
