The movie thread.

This is true. Though since he said movies BSG didn't register.

Caprica, BSG spin-off series, is also pretty good although not really as sci-fi as regular BSG.

Voicy have you seen the tv serries Castle? It is a Crime Drama which has Nathan Fillion as a crime novelist helping the NYPD. Soooo funny.

Nicky Heat :D

Absolutely dig that show. Getting S3 soon. The innocence portrayed by his daughter is a very refreshing change to the teenage scene.

I have the first few ep of S3.

Yeah Alexis is awesome, also nice to see a male lead who has a good relationship with his mother.

Oh yeah and Alexis is hot.

As I said in the sereis thread. Caprica is bloody boring if you watch one episode at a time, it's really slow and dragged out, like the didn't know what to fill an hour with, but watch it all in one go, and it's really not bad. In the end though, it would have made a much better movie or two than it does a TV series.

Also on the topic of sci-fi. An overseas friend of mine watches Lexx and I watched the pilot on youtube. It's really corny SGI and plot, but it's epic, like a Canadian responce to Dr. Who.

That trailer is awesome, but I hope they didn't pile all the best parts of the movie into it as usual.

I have a feeling thats exactly what they did. They took a bunch of fairly unknown actors or tv actors which tells me big name stars didn't want it. Also remind me too much of War of the Worlds.

Seen it not bad. I proffered REC. But I found a new series called walking dead, It is by far the best zombie thing ever:D

Bill Murray's last good role was in the first Ghost Busters, since then he has been slipping ever since.

Simply no....The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Groundhog Day, Kingpin, Lost In Translation, Rushmore. Last good role...pffft. Murray's still got it :D

Anyone seen The Man From Earth (2007)? If not, get it. Just watched it now, and really impressed. Visually it's B-grade, but the script is awesome.

Zombie land has a paper thin plot and one good cast member... Woody Harrelson .

Thats pretty much what it such a great movie! :p Less stupid emo beeches and less crocked up pseudo science, in favor of more zombies and more hilarity!

Twinkies FTW!

I respectivly disagree with you. Mr Murray's is only able to play one role, the over the top, annoying, lead. With the only exception being Lost in Translation.

The life aquatic is one of my favourite films. William Dafoe as 'Klausie' was crazy awesome!

As for 'the man from earth', I watch it about once or twice a year, every year since I got it. Each time I pick up more points. Very interesting 'discussion movie'. Nice that they didn't make use of well known actors.

The psychiatrist played the role of the dude who invented the 'jump-to-conclusions' mat in Office Space.

Watched Machete his weekend. Wickedly funny and awesome. Haven't been disappointed with a Robert Rodriguez movie yet.

For those that havn't yet, go and do yourself a favour and check out The Social Network!!!! Damn best 2hrs ever!!! definitely a movie worth watching. :)
