Yeah, it's awesome. I love the fact that you can actually do a backflip on the halfpipe and kind of grind as well. I even took my BMX on the rollercoaster track last night, pretty awesome.
 
Finished the main story line this afternoon. Straight after I got my money I went and bought that hangar and jacked a boeing :D

I managed to try and play the online the whole of last night. No such luck. I can create a character and that's it. If I try to play online I get a connection error, if I select solo it kicks me out after the intro cutscene. Seems to be a common problem at the moment.
 
Mine seems to be working for now, played for about an hour or two now and everything was fine.

I was also able to play a bit last night, but joining a friends session seems almost impossible atm. Matchmaking is not working as intended.

I've actually been really successful with joining friends' games. Played with randoms at first, but then I played in a private match with 2 friends for a while.

I haven't tried the private server yet, but trying to join a friend who is on a random server, or vice versa doesn't work atm.

Works fine for me. Playing with a friend on random server right now.
 
So tried out a bit of online tonight and it worked.. for the most part.

Was able to join a buddy's session and we drove around causing some k@k :D That's up until i got disconnected again so decided to just mess around on a random server and ended up having the most fun ever!

You know your having fun when you get someone to rage quite.. bwhahahaha :p
