The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has proven to be incredibly successful for CD Projekt RED, having sold a whopping six million copies within its first six weeks on store shelves.

According to CD Projekt's latest financial results (via NeoGAF), the company earned 237 million PLN ($63.3 million USD) in net profit for the first half of 2015.

The publisher also noted its open-world RPG has performed well both at retail and digitally.

The final piece of free DLC for The Witcher 3 released earlier this month, adding a New Game Plus mode to the mix.

one of the best rpgs ever made. end of story. been playing over 200 hours and not done. decided to finish it finally as I want to do the game plus mode now!

tl;dr buy this game its more than worth it.

Funny thing is that i actually pirated it and then decided to buy it halfway though the game.Even the random run around quest don't feel tedious due to Gareth (did i spell that right) talking and having conversations,i'm glad the developers didn't take any bad shortcuts.
