Each to his own I say. Me, I'm a FF user.

And IE is only mainstream because it is bundled in Windows. I promise nobody would actually download it if Windows did not have a browser built in. They wouldn't would they? Okay, maybe Raven would, be we all know is a bit special... :p
 
Well okay. I guess it is your choice.
But even updating IE is a big enough challenge.
Your just gonna have a lot of problems/troubles/issues in the future.
I get so frustrated with IE but as I said, it's your choice.

Blame Microsoft for not being standards compliant. You know what a pain it is to build websites so that they look and work in IE like they do in every other browser.

seriously raven, have you seen a shrink about this? when i have to use the PCs at uni I have to go an have a smoke afterwards thanks to the stress of using the worse browser ever!
 
I still use IE for browsing I don't have any issues with it whats ever and can never understand the looks of pity that I get when ever I mention it.
I use FF for work but only because it keeps my RSS feeds nicely displayed at the top of the page - to be honest I cab not see any difference in speed between the 2 and yes Ive already seen the speed comparison charts but in normal usage its not noticeable.

I use a combination of browsers - at home I run Chrome and Firefox - at work Chrome, FF, Opera, SeaMonkey - and I only use IE when I really have to (like when lazy developers only code for IE and NOTHING else).

Other than that I hate IE and avoid it like the plague.

ChromePlus (My prefered browser) has an IE mode button that displays a site like it would in IE.

Oh, this has made my day! On my win partition FF takes *forever* to load, but I still use it rather than that filthy whore of a browser, IE - which doesn't take too long to load.... On my Linux partition it takes *seconds* to load up, so I think Windows is predisposed to IE! :eek:
