That's quite a stellar review. I have played about 20 mins of the game and it seems quite good, although I don't like the whole 'collectable resource' mechanic quite similar to the one in Far Cry 3.

Yeah, it forces you to explore, which I suppose is kind of the point of Tomb Raider. Also, the developers want you to check out every corner of their well-designed world
