Anyone tried this yet? Looks like you can get a beta key via facebook by just pressing the like button. Only valid until the 23 January I think.

Busy download it as I type this, although I think I'm in for a disappointment when I see the latency...
 
I played a few minutes of it. It was ok, but I was so spoiled with BF3 that it felt a bit archaic compared to newer AAA games. I reckon I need to play some more before I pass a final judgment on it.
 
The game is alright, just wish there was a South African server so that I could get less than 400ms on my 3G...
Team Deathmatch is kinda amusing, 100 lives each team with one flag on the level which everyone is after.
I see there's an Australian server so a South African server might not be far off if enough interest is shown.

If we get local servers I will give it a go, I like a mindless shooter every now and then. Nice to get away from all the serious stuff.

It's not entirely mindless, it takes a lot of effort chasing someone and a lot of cunning to get the upperhand. They weren't kidding when they said fastest FPS in the world.
 
It's impossible to kill someone with a "hitscan" weapon with a high ping. Not only is it hard to shoot someone, the weapons themselves are also very weak.
