Trying to get this game to work with my controller..

I recently found GTA:SA and decided to start playing it again. Unfortunately, I'm not used to pc gaming anymore and I can't play with a keyboard and a mouse, so I tried to use my Xbox controller. The triggers don't enter as controls and I need them to shoot and aim (important things in GTA). Is there a program or something I can use? I tried SA:Advanced control, but it isn't helping
 
You might try Joy2Key, but the game should work just fine the XBox controller...

Maybe check for driver updates for the gamepad?
