Twisted Metal multiplayer beta goes live

Downloaded the beta off the US PSN store last night. I've never played a Twisted Metal game before so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Let us know if its any good. I've looked at some of the gameplay vids and wasn't wowed, having no previous twisted metal knowledge to compare it too it just seemed a little... pointless to me. Would like to hear your opinion on it.
