Upgrading Graphics

I plan on upgrading my graphics card and I need some help deciding. My price range is R1200-R1500. Let me know what you guy's think.

you can either go for the Geforce 9600GT or the AMD4830, both are roundabouts R1500

That is a pretty limited budget right now, BUT, there are some great older cards that are selling for around there at the moment.

PC international are selling a 9800GT for R1700. I dont think you will beat that, although it is a bit over your budget.

Radeon HD 4670 R980 @ Prophecy

Or the Radeon HD 3870 @ Prophecy for R1300 is a decent deal.

Im with Tinman on this 1..Maybe go for an older card, The 3870 is really good and at that price you can't really beat it

Look on prophecy for some really good second hand deals. Can sometimes find a 8800GTX for R1500. Card is brilliant, runs Far Cry 2 perfectly

Lol Diablo 3, COD 4 and 2142 are the only games I'm going to play so maybe you right.

I find it quite pointless to spend R2000+ on a card only to replace it following year after it looses much of it's value. There aren't even many good PC games to play anyway so I mostly stick to PS3. Thanks for the help, some good deals there.
