A 41-year-old American man has been stabbed to death in Johannesburg, police said on Sunday.

He and a 29-year-old woman arrived at a flat in Illovo at 3am, said Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini.
When the guard heard a woman screaming, he went to investigate, and saw the woman with a knife in her hand. The man had been stabbed, he said.

The man died on the scene. Police arrested the woman and seized a knife, said Dlamini.

What the hell was he doing in a flat in Illovo at 3am? Sounds like he was buying drugs. Bec Illovo is a really bad area :/
