Voice chat apps for online team gaming

I agree with mumble and ts being the best choices. I can't really say much on deciding between them, other than that I've struggled with the voice activation thresholds on mumble, they aren't adjustable in any way that's beneficial. Maybe that's just my bad desktop mic though.

I recommend teamspeak it is the go-to program for voice chatting and you can host your own server with their server program and it has low bandwith usage . Skype is terrible as the quality sucks and the bandwith usage is horrid which makes for laggy gaming.

Teamspeak and mumble are the best, just try them out and see which you prefer, I was always a teamspeak person so I'll vote for that :)

Skype is not ok. if u play both is so so - but norms, but if three or more - there is an echo and it further backing. there is generally always rate low.

RaidCall good server but it has minuses:

- There is a lot of advertising.
- A limited set of the organization team communication.
Steam has next minus:

- Games should be bought on Steam.

Has anyone tried the new Dolby voice chat - Axiom?

never heard about it!

We use skype mostly and sometimes Vsee for online gaming never needed to use anything else, but did use TS or vent when I raided years back in WoW just because they had a free server.

Is it important for you that server was free?
Dosnt irritate quality of Skype? Its so sad for me! Skype so bad for it.But free, its true,
You don't spend any money on the game?

Mumble and TeamSpeak are the best in this line to be perfectly honest.

My personal favourite is Mumble, simply because it's more customizable and tweakable (as such).
Though I mostly use Teamspeak due to it being the more popular and what more of my mates use.

But Ventrilo, Mumble and TeamSpeak - sell licenses to sell their voice servers. This means that players need to look for the nearest resellers for them to rent a server. The quality of Developer service can not be guaranteed. Another option is to use installing voice server at its facilities with all the charms of administration. So these services are similar in that to connect users to a voice server should be distribute large number of users to the server IP address and port, with instructions on connecting, often when organizing raids, etc. events, this process can drag on for a considerable period. Think its bad part!
All third individual support construction volume of other players and have overlay can broadcast messages to all channels. It is also a common problem and the service is still a that in recent years the new features to improve team communication and was not submitted.
