I am pretty sure it will. Gaming in general is picking up in South Africa.

How many local players have made an appearance on the servers?
 
dude counter strike source is not dead in SA, you should see its epic with the Wage servers and IS Gaming.
 
Havent been able to Join the Wage servers this weekend for CS:GO :( had to play international servers and it lags!
Otherwise Source in SA is still going well.

We had an issue on Friday evening where clients would be disconnected with a cannot join lobby error, or a client/server mis-match error. This has been fixed, we had a game on Saturday evening, was loads of fun, so it appears the problem was fixed.

Please let me know if you are still experiencing this problem.
