What did Blizzard do to the Diablo cursor in Patch 2.4?!

I've looked on the Battle.net forums for info on this, but haven't found anything. Why the sudden change?

...and then suddenly Patch 2.4 drops

As much as I loved Diablo 3, I just don't see the point of Seasons. I have finished the story several times now, as far as I'm concerned there is nothing left for me to gain from it and I think I got my money's worth.

From what I've read people complained that they loose the cursor when things get to hectic on screen. This is probably Blizzard's way to try and help. They should have made it an menu option though because I still prefer the old cursor.

Agreed 100% iv probably put over 300 hours into the game, and the expansion, iv definitely got my monies worth, but also feel like there is no point in doing the same thing again and again and again... I also despise act 2 in the desert...
